Mission Statement
Mission Paita Colan (MPC) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization that strives to provide Peruvians of all ages and backgrounds the necessary means to achieve their greatest potential in society by acknowledging and honoring their individual rights and personal dignity.
Without a distinct political, religious, or governmental affiliation, MPC embodies the notion that we are all equal in our given existence as fellow human beings. With this understanding we conclusively acknowledge that our humanity was created with the innate ability and desire to help one another seek improvement in each other’s daily lives and overall spirituality.

MPC has been constituted to provide help to the poor of Peru (more specifically the communities of Paita and Colan) and assist in improving the country’s volatile social and economic state of living. The scarce level of educational and employment opportunity in Peru unfortunately forces many Peruvians to remain homeless and susceptible to dangerous, alternate forms of survival.
MPC directs its efforts and support towards the extremely deprived adolescent youth in Peru. The young patriotic men and women possess a strong willed desire to overcome the daily challenges they face. MPC sustains and encourages the common adolescent desire to one day effect and advocate for an integral contributory role in the development of Peru.
MPC additionally offers the Peruvian people abundant opportunity to encourage the development of the arts and culture through associated expansion programs.
